Located in the quiet village of Strontian on the Ardnamurchan peninsula, The Strontian Hotel offers comfortable bed and breakfast for those looking for a quiet stay in this wonderful, totally unspoiled environment.

Our family run hotel sits by the shore of Loch Sunart - a tidal sea-loch and we enjoy the most spectacular views across the loch to the surrounding hills. We have six rooms - all ensuite and some have magnificent views out across the loch.

Breakfast is served in our bright and airy dining room with a full menu to suit all tastes and diets.

The hotel has a public bar and front-facing lounge where most visitors enjoy their evening meals and our view. All food is freshly prepared by our chef who sources local fish, venison, beef and lamb when available.

Locally, the village of Strontian offers shopping and visitor information, forest and hill walks. The area has lots of wildlife with deer, pine martin, eagles and a huge range of local birds, flora and fauna. The area is perfect for cycling with mostly quiet, single-track roads along the peninsula.

We look forward to welcoming you for a relaxing and rewarding stay in one of the most beautiful areas of the UK. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement. Our hotel, in accordance with Scotttish Law, is no smoking.
